Tatura

TATURA
Often
known as Water Wheel Country, Tatura is home to many food processing
enterprises. It has a population of approximately 3000 and is a
very progressive town. In January each year Tatura hosts International
Dairy Week, the second largest dairy show in the world. During World
War II there were several war camps for POWs and internees in this
area and the two war cemeteries are poignant reminders of this part
of the area's history.
